Picking up the Orthotics

This is the latest post in series of William, Grace and Juliet's journey with Hypophosphatasia.

Last week, we went to pick up William's orthotics.

The waiting room is a great place to hide.

William's inserts fit inside both his tennis shoes and new boots. His new boots, of course, have more support built in than his old boots anyhow.  So, now he has some inserts to help his ankles, and hopefully they will start feeling better!

They had a cool circus tent in the exam room!

It was kind of a long trip for the amount of time we were there.  I tried to piggyback it on the orthopedic doctor visit, but the days didn't work out. = /

I'm hopeful that with this little bit of correction, and continuing his Strensiq treatment, that his ankles will continue getting stronger, and eventually he won't need anything extra.
