Each time I go through and clean off my phone and update my blog, there is a collection of photos that don't really merit their own post, but were important enough to snap.
Emily found a chip that looks like the LP of Michigan!
They've started offering a budding comedian comedy night at a local reception hall, we've been to the two they've offered so far, and really enjoyed both! The Cornish adults joined us for the second round, and thankfully it was even funnier than the first. = )
A few weeks ago, I went through the carwash before doing my grocery shopping, and the wheel was so shiny on the ground, I thought someone had lost a white jacket or towel on the ground Infront of it!!!
The big girls' school is more rural than the little ones', so their snow days are based on how bad county roads are, versus the city roads of the little ones' district. That said, they were given a snow day, and were my helpers after dropping off the little ones.
The cold mornings make for some beautiful sunrises!
We were able to set up a playdate for William with his friend Weston. They had a fun time, but having just one extra boy in the house sure is noisy! They had to work on spelling after school.
The final element of the project she completed at school, and it was a scale model of the area of each exhibit. She was able to pry off the animals and apply them to her new model. Her teacher liked it so much she asked if she could show it to the other teacher. = )
Alice went all out for fuzzy sock day! She wore fuzzy socks on her feet, hands, and even had Grace tie one into her hair!
One Friday, the little one's school hosted a "snow ball dance." I volunteered to take tickets, and Emily wanted to go (but didn't know if guests were allowed at the time) so she volunteered too!
I found fancy dresses for the twins a few weeks before. We also did up some "fancy" hairstyles.
It was cooooooooold outside, despite the fact that they make it look warm. They were snuggling for warmth not sibling comradery. I asked William to go pick out a button-down shirt, and this is what he came down it. As sweaty as he got, it was probably for the best. = )
Emily also dressed very fancy. = ) It was so cold, she had to pose alone, because no one wanted to go back out without a jacket. The disparity of temperature between inside and outside caused my camera lens to fog up.
It was our turn to host, but since Billy didn't get President's Day off, we went over for the twins to play with Zoey. As usual, Kristy was a gracious host, and the girls had a great time 'gardening.' Unlike the above pictures, this day was actually warm enough for them to be comfortable in short sleeves!
All the little moments in life are ones I'm trying to savor, even more than usual, and all of these are some of the best of the little moments. = )
later days
