William Turns 9!

Last Thursday, we celebrated our little boy, who is quickly becoming a big boy!  One last picture of 8 year old William:

As is our family tradition (since 2020) we had cake for breakfast, waking up early so that Daddy could sing to the birthday boy as well.

Since we were running early, I thought it would be okay if he opened his gifts before school.  It was not.  We didn't have much to get through before MOPS, but we did not finish it with all of his birthday present distractions.  Maybe one day I'll learn.

In the afternoon he had karate lessons, and was excited that he got to choose the games, as the birthday boy.

Emily and the twins made him some nice cards.  

After karate we went to the store, so that he could choose dinner.  He ultimately decided on pizza.  Nobody complained. ; )

Hopefully he had the best day ever, he seemed like a pretty happy boy to me!
