Christmas!!

Christmas Eve saw the kids opening their annual Christmas PJs.  Avia came over after her church service ended and had a "sleepover."

First thing in the morning, the kids were enjoying their stocking stuffers, before sorting all the gifts below the tree.

Opening is always an exciting time.

My most noteworthy gift was from the big girls (with everyone's name on it.) It is a cup they found at Uncle John's earlier in the year that reminded them of me.  (Hopefully because I use the word "lit," and not because I am this narcissistic.)  Sarah also added 3(!) blog books to my shelf, and Haley got me a lovely 3-piece nesting set of measuring cups that I can use in the oven and microwave!!  Billy got me a purple snuggy, but I've not had the opportunity to use it just yet.

Alice's top gift was her new RTIC tumbler, Emily liked her fuzzy slippers, William his new nerf gun, Grace and Juliet played with their Na-na-na surprise closets the entire day!

We had ham and potatoes and mac and cheese and green beans, all the favorites at a lovely Christmas lunch before Avia left.

It was a nice day to relax and enjoy some family time without any pressure to go anywhere and think about the absolute best gift given to us: Jesus Christ our Lord.
