The big girls were excited about Nikolausstifel this year, because they got to help with the candy distribution and gift placement! I did wait until they were in bed for the night before setting theirs out though.

Flappy hats for Alice and Emily, Nerf guns for William and Hatchimal egg crates for the twins.
Because this tradition fell on a Sunday night/ Monday morning this year, they were not allowed to play with their gifts until after everyone finished their school day. I'm pretty sure they set a Monday record. : )
Everyone was pleased with their chocolates and surprises. I'm calling it a total sucess.
