On Wednesday, sometimes the kids get out a couple of hours early. This past Wednesday was one of those days, so we decided to make some cookies with Abby, Big Emily and Aubrey!
Since Alice and Big Emily don't have to have a stool, they went first and rolled out the dough.
Since it is difficult for the littler ones to roll and cut, Nicole took over that task when the kids decided they'd rather go play than make cookies.
Once the cookies were baked everyone came back in to decorate!
Once batch one was finished, the kids went back and played, so we decided to just make the rest of the cookies round and decorate them ourselves.
The round ones were the ones that were sent in to teachers, because I knew they were not contaminated with licked fingers, or worse... = p
We made the plan for next year, that we will make the cookies in advance, and just get together to decorate them. = )
