Dragon, Knight and Lady Stories

In language arts this week the little ones are writing a story that incorporates a dragon a knight and a lady. These are their tales.

Grace

Once upon a time, the dragon saw a princess at her castle and he was curious, and saw that her dress was pretty and pink and shiny. He took the princess to his cave and put her in his gem pile.

The knight sees the princess fly away. So, the knight chased after the princess. He finally got to the cave and he saw the dragon. And the princess was awakening. So, the knight sneaked in, but the dragon saw him because his armor was shiny. He was curious again, and took him to his gem pile. And they both awakened. So, they saw each other and quietly, and the dragon heard him. The dragon looked and saw that they were escaping, so the dragon breathed fire and they looked at the dragon to see that the dragon was angry and mad.

They had to escape, but the dragon had a secret entrance that the dragon accidentally pushed the button, but they ran and got out. The princess ran back to the castle, but the knight stayed to fight at the cave.

So, the knight had a sword and the horse was still at the bottom, and so the princess actually only got down because she wanted to get on the horse, but she didn’t know if she could, because the knight didn’t say so. The big sword cut open the wing so the dragon couldn’t fly. The dragon breathed fire and was dying. The dragon breathed it on the wall and it came back and burned it’s hurt wing that was bleeding. So, it died.

And then they safely got back to the castle, and the villagers were like “hooray, hooray!” The knight came into the castle as the new bravest knight.

The End.

Juliet

Once upon a time, there was a princess and a dragon and a knight.

The dragon took the princess, when the knight and the princess were having dinner at the castle. And the dragon took the princess and the knight grabbed on his tail because he wanted to follow the princess to where she was going. And the dragon felt something on its tail so he swung it off the cliff.

The knight landed safely in some water. And it was deep deep water, it was actually the ocean. And so, a mermaid found him. And so, it took him up to the sand on the beach. The knight woke up and found a giant bird. And so, it tamed it and asked it to go to the giant castle up in the clouds.

The knight fought the dragon and so the princess liked the shiny gems that the dragon put her in. and so she saw the knight fighting and said “why are you guys fighting?” And then the knight said, I came up to save you.

The princess was like “oh, okay, well I want to stay up here, because I like the gems.” And the dragon was hopping and it shook the whole castle. And then the princess decided that she didn’t want to stay anyway.

So, the princess went with the knight and they had a nice dinner again. And the princess took two of the gems that the dragon gave her.

The End.

William

Once upon a time, there was a knight and he was just walking along with the princess. And, they kept on walking until they saw this little shed, and then they went in for food. And so, then what happened next was that they saw this broken dragon robot. They didn’t mind until a pancake flew into the air hit the ceiling and broke the ceiling into pieces. Then, ceiling fell onto the robot, connecting him together, and nails fell into place on the robot and then a drill fell which was stuck with pancake syrup and then the drills connected the robot and then a waffle hit the turn on button and the knight and the lady had to stop eating and ran out. The robot shot 15 missiles at them blowing up the entire shed.

The robot was chasing after them, and he shot a grenade out with his wings. Then it exploded, tripping the knight, and then the dragon breathed fire, but it hit the knight’s shield and protected him. And then he went to a farm with a lady, and the dragon shot 25 missiles at the knight. So, the knight used all the food around him to make a wall. But since they were heat seeking missiles, two of them flew back and hit the dragon.

The lady played country music and so the dragon hated country music, because he liked more intense music, and he flew away. But luckily the dragon dropped a heat seeking missile, which the knight found and lighted it, and used it to blow up the dragon. The knight and the lady went out to a spot where there wasn’t a robot and ate.

The End.

Next week, they will make them into an illustrated "book!"
