We tried to give our little ones ample opportunities to wear their costumes this season, so on Saturday we headed to the trunk or treating at the Sam's club. We were all really cold, so the only activities we did were the hoops and cupcake decorating.

We only lasted about 30 minutes in the cold Michigan wind, but did get a few treats and a nice picture:
From there we went to McDonalds where we had a nice long lunch and plenty of time on the indoor playground. = )

One of Alice's friends and her mom came over and we went out as a group. The twins lasted 5-6 blocks, before they were ready to head home. Her friend's mom very kindly took my older three with her since they were still having a good time.
It was a nice short evening, but we had more candy than trick-or-treaters! It was surprising, because there were tons of kids out, and the other mom said that she thought they must have imported kids this year. = ) That was totally understandable, since half the houses on our street were passing out candy. I even put the bowl out when we were all done, for the big kids to grab extras, but we still had a bunch.
I didn't get a picture from Halloween night, but my dragon (Alice,) mermaid princess (Emily,) Lego ninja (William,) Hello Kitty cheerleader (Grace,) and mermaid Ariel (Juliet) looked awfully cute!
Another Happy Halloween!
