This morning, her presents were in big boxes at her feet. She was excited to open a Giant Squishable Penguin from Enisi and Edudi, and a Squishable Manatee from Mutti and Daddy.

Anecdotally: Emily's class has a new student, as of Thursday. His name is Sergio and he was born in Mexico. That night, Emily came home and made him a welcome card, and even wrote "Bienvenido" on it, since he speaks Spanish. She makes me so proud. The world could use a lot more Emilys I think.
