So, I bought some mulch a month or so ago, and once the weather outside was tolerable, the twins and I set to work in the front flower beds.
Sadly, we ran out of mulch before finishing the bed. A trip to the store was frustrating, as they had sold out!
We checked another store, they were also out of the pretty red mulch. Finally I ended up at a landscaping storefront. They had plenty in stock, but their credit card machines were down = ( I had $15 cash on me, and the gentlemen cut me a deal so that I could at least finish my single bed that day!
A few days later, my sister sweetly bought me some, based on the sign in the picture, which was not even the same mix. = ( so we ended up exchanging it for the correct one, which they finally had in stock a week later! So I bought enough to finish the front*!
I didn't take a picture when we were finished (because I was tired) so this picture Billy snapped last week will have to do. = )
It came out fantastic, and with everything in bloom, looks like we put more work into it than we did. Hopefully, we will actually finish the job before the end of the season!
