Minecraft Coding Camp

Two weeks ago Alice attended her first ever coding camp.  On day one, she was a little leery, but this was the first ever camp that I didn't have to fight her to go on day 2.

Each morning my mom came over so that I could take Alice without having to load and unload the whole crew on such a tight timeline.

It took me 2+ hours chatting with customer service to get her copy of Minecraft for windows 10 working, because Microsoft does not do a good job of absorbing and integrating companies they acquire.

It was totally worth it though when I saw her practicing what she'd learned!  This particular code makes your "agent" build a tower to your specifications. = )

On the last day, when we picked her up, she asked if she could do it for another year.  I'd say she had a good time.  I'll have to look and see what after school offerings they have this fall.
