Today the temperature was expected to reach 40F, everything looked pretty melty from the comfort of my window, so it probably reached that. Late in the evening we did end up with a "wintry" mix of snow in the air, rain on contact.
Avia came over and spent some time playing games with the kids, and we spent the rest of the day getting ready for our guests!
We celebrated the Chinese new year with some Chinese food and drink!
The smallest quantity of chopsticks I could buy was 40, so in addition to using them as food, we pulled up our hair, chopstick style.
It is the year of the rat, so they were using the chopsticks as 'whiskers.' = )
We enjoyed having the Eatons over, as always. And it was fun celebrating a new (to us) tradition!
later days
