The final fundraiser this year tied in with the Mileage event that the students were completing at school. It was kind of a school wide challenge, and if you completed so many miles you earned a water bottle! Alice kept losing her cards, and William has short legs (and low stamina) so Emily was the only one who earned the bottle.
This event was on a rainy day, so they doubled up classes, and ran the parking lot, since the track was so muddy.
Parents and teachers signed cards, ran laps, cheered from the sidelines, and passed out water and bananas.
As we were cleaning up, it started raining on us again!
The fundraiser was successful enough that the kids earned a pajama day the following week:
