The big kids were sooooooo excited to put out their lists on Tuesday night! It was so windy out that I had the kids leave their shoes just inside the door, so that the notes wouldn't blow away.
The elf came late, but passed out socks, candy (the big girls each got a roll of hubba bubble, william and the twins had chocolate coins) and a trinket for each. = )
Poor Alice was very disappointed, but put on a good face. Santa accidentally sent a Yokai that she already had. = ( She helped Emily assemble her Lego set though, and William indulged in his chocolate coins. Emily decided that the deer were actually reindeer, and she received "Dancer."
They had already picked up their goodies and dressed by the time twins came down. So they were super excited to show the twins what the elf left for them, and help them open it = )
When Billy left, I had him drop a new Yokai on the porch, with Alice's name scribbled on it. While she was brushing her teeth, I managed so sneak "Olivia" on to her package. She was so thrilled to get a new one (that completed her set) and so someone named Olivia at her school brought home a Yokai on Wednesday. = ) Apparently Santa's elf needs to be a little more careful. = o
She was concerned that Santa's bag had a hole in it, so we will probably be leaving out a needle and read thread for Santa, along with his cookies. = )
Edited 12/10/17: Grace and Juliet were showing off their hatched hatchimals after we dropped the big kids off at school!
